How will prop 47 affect a prop 36 sentence

This appears to be a duplicate post. Please review previous answers. Sounds like probation anticipates your petition being granted, but the court can still order various programs and conditions of probation.

Sounds as if you have a felony drug possession case that resulted in you getting privation with drug treatment under Prop 36. Prop 47 could make that conviction a misdemeanor - with probation being supervised by the court and not the probation department. That's a positive result in the grand scheme of things.

I believe you have posted this question before, and the answers will not change. Speak to your attorney who knows the details.

Speak with an attorney regarding your relief under Prop 47 before taking any action in this regard- it is no panacea.
