Hello. Is it possible to help our community (Rolling Creek Apartment Vancouver, WA (Old-built 1974/ Address: 7301 Northeast 13th Avenue, Vancouver, WA 98665 (360) 695-5301). The price of rent was increased for $ 100 with plus the price for garbage, sewer, and water. But official information on website of Olympic management show as that these are included (how it was before). My story:I paid $710 in month, now my rent will be $756. And plus $45 for this amount. In total $ 810. The explanation of landlord was next-too much garbage (it is true-the dumpster started to be full). But it not because we only use this dumpster. People from neighboring houses (newly built homes or simply close) throw out in our apartment furniture, Christmas trees, etc.). Managers know it and sad that we must catching these people and call to police. How it is possible? In turn out for to normal life in the places, we should not sleep and risking our lives and what happened if we will accidentally catch our tenants? It is Impossible to know the whole car park. It turns out that managers save on creating a special and secure system of garbage cans and put all the costs on us-residents. This is at least not fair or deliberately deception. Who can help us to avoid charging? My letters for highest management were ignored (sent for Mike, but he didn’t answer) and not enough time to find another place to move. We (tenants) are going to write petition for Attorney General. Could you, please, give us advice-what to do? Thank you! God bless!!!

Rent increases are not allowed if you have a lease. If you are month to month you are entitled to 30 days notice before the increase is effective. Dumpsters are a target for dumping, Occasionally a landlord will chain the lid down and give copies of the keys to tenants. I have added a link to the notice statute below Good Luck
