Is there any form of relief of deportation for a single person with no kids or wife, who has living here for more than ten years, has no criminal background, has taxes paid? What is the process? Is it grant green card?

The ICE enforcement priorities recently changed. This person may not be a priority for removal. This person should consult in private with an immigration attorney for a thorough evaluation to determine what, if any, relief would be possible. If nothing else, this person could ask ICE to "administratively close" his or her case.

Due to Obamas executive action, ICE priorities may be changing. However in New England, ICE attorneys are waiting for more guidance. Once more info is made available around April or May, maybe a request can be made to close out your case. Contact an immigration attorney to review your options.

You may be eligible for asylum or protection under the Convention Against Torture. If you have parents in the United States with status that may provide a way for you to remain as well. Get a consultation with an attorney to check all options.
