Defamation, slander, falsified police reports, harassment by soon to be ex husband

My husband and I are going through a divorce, I have no legal representation as he has cut me off from finances. There are a lot of domestic violence issues involved and he got charged and convicted with a DV felony. Over the course of the years, he has called 911 making false reports on me countless times. I was arrested twice due to these incidents and both times arrested without cause as I was innocent. The police are tired of responding, the courts have been overloaded and he is getting his way through control and I am overwhelmed trying to fight for my rights. Both in our divorce as well as my right for freedom and safety. He is currently stalking me now, driving by where I am staying, waiting for me outside of stores. I am afraid to leave my house most of the time. I need help

Unfortunately, many divorces have spouses who do the same things your husband is doing to you. My best suggestion is to find counsel. See if any of your legal aid societies will assist you on a sliding scale. Also, if your husband has made ANY physical threats or have taken any aggressive physical activity towards you, you should 1. file a police report and 2. file for a restraining order. You must be able to convince the court you are afraid for your physical safety. Good luck.
