Wisc residents rear ended in Tenn. We are not being treated as the victims and need legal advice
Anonymous5 views5 answers
6 pm 11/22 20 miles west of Nashville on I24. Hit at a high rate of speed from a Tenn driver that probably fell asleep. Police report was very weak, and no witnesses accounts were added. My wife has extensive nagging injuries and I have slight nagging injuries. Driver is claiming some medical emergency and is being tested this month for sleep disorders. I think more investigations need to take place such as why his passenger was asleep, and what they did that day. No tests were conducted for alcohol or drugs. Believe this was a complete failure of the system.
Re-post this as a Tennessee matter if you want more responses. However, as a general matter, although law enforcement accident reports are often useful, they are also very limited in terms of scope and completeness, due to other urgent matters competing for the attention of a limited number of highway officers at any given time. That is why one should never rely upon them completely, and instead follow up with more investigation at one's own expense, with the assistance of experienced personal injury counsel.

It is unclear to me what you are asking. However, I would contact a personal injury attorney in Tennessee who will meet with you for free to assess your options and provide guidance about how to get medical treatment for your and your wife. Best of luck!
