We are email marketers , sold a system with fully set up servers, including ips, ready to mail immediately. A day was arranged to teach us how to use the system. We arrived at the day to be told the servers crashed 3 days ago so were not available. Nothing was available for 6 weeks then only with a further payment We have written a letter demanding a refund 1. Should we mail or email it 2. Should we send it as a group or individually 3. How do we sign a letter sent by email 4. What time limits should we set for response and for repayment 5. Can people in different States and countries make a claim together 6. We believe that one of the alleged fraudsters is under probation. At what point in the process is it best to disclose that we intend to make an official complaint to probation

This website is primarily for consumers. If you are selling email marketing systems and are from different countries, there are questions of international jurisdiction and choice of laws. These issues cannot be handled on a forum like , which deals with U.S. law only. You will need to seek legal counsel in your country of origin or contact someone in the state where you had contractual dealings.

I agree that this website cannot provide guidance on such a complex matter. Do not threaten to report to probation. Either do it, or do not.
