You should consult an accountant and an attorney. What you're proposing is so broad, that you're going to want to have a good understanding of the "behind the scenes" work involved in television/film/movie production. You'll need everything from copyright/trademark protections to contracts relating to filmmaking (cast/crew agreements, location releases, etc.) and those contracts will change depending on the type of actors/staff you're hiring. Screen Actors Guild? SAG plays by a different set of rules. Merchandising -- you'll need licensing agreements. Touring? You'll need a booking agent -- and an attorney experienced in dealing with talent contracts (which always include hospitality riders and excessive demands.) Most of all, you'll need connections within the industry if you don't already have them. TV networks? Unless you have connections within a network, it's going to be a tough road to make an unsolicited pitch for your ideas.

I agree with counsel that you need to consult an attorney and accountant. But I'll add that you will also need to determine the best way to structure your business - i.e. do you want a corporation, an LLC, a partnership? How many people will own the business? How do you want the business to be taxed? etc. There are a lot of considerations. Filing the paperwork to form the entity with SDAT is the easy part - but getting everything set up to be filed should be done carefully and meticulously to meet your needs.

From your description your needs are quite broad. You will, at the outset, need counsel on corporate formation, organization and structure. How you set up your corporation will depend on your stage in development and your present assets and liabilities. You should discuss your time frame with an attorney. After you have set up the skeleton of your organization, as well as your budget, you will need an experienced intellectual property attorney to help you understand and protect the various rights implicated in music, film, television, fashion, etc. You should consult with counsel that is local to the area where you will be conducting business. Best of luck.

All of the other answers are great, and I agree with the previous attorneys. I think it's great that your vision is broad, and I hope it's game changing. The key is going to be your execution. You'll want an attorney that understands the challenges of start-ups, raising capital (DROOM - Don't Run Out Of Money), employment related issues, basic tax concerns, brand development, copyright and trademark protection, the new trends in independent contracts and traditions for majors/networks/studios, marketing/advertising and publicity, developing relationships in the various areas and genres of entertainment you will work in, and that can service those needs. There are many great attorneys in the directory. Best wishes finding what you're looking for.
