Details :H1b Transfer Status and Important Note : Received the H1b Transfer Receipt Notice on 5th March Case : I already informed my current employer and got the relieving for 13th march (Friday) so that I could join MNC on 16Th march . But unfortunately MNC has to push back my joining from 16Th March to 23rd March due to some issues with the information flow. Question : I am not counting the weekends then Now I have 5-6 Unpaid Business days (16-20th March) in between the reliving date and Joining date. I am not sure If on H1B these unpaid days really impact your status or not.I am little worried about these 5 unpaid days.If these 5 unpaid days could really create any issue during H1B Approval or at the time of Filing Green card ? It would be great if you could advice/suggest me on cas

In general, an individual in H1B status is out of status on the day immediately following his or her last employment day. The rest you should discuss with an immigration attorney. You can start this discussion with the lawyer representing the new employer.
