I had paid this lawyer his upfront fee to take my case. He has recently went missing, I only have 5 yrs to file this. I have some proof from my old lawyer where we got the proof this has happened before to other kids. My son has gone threw many therapist, the old lawyer had paid to have him evaluated by a therapist. Whom do you plan to sue? If the subject of the suit has little or no money/assets, you are going to have trouble getting an attorney to take the case on a contingent fee basis. If there is nothing to win, a contingent fee is nothing.
