Can I sue my employer for false imprisonment and falsely attempting to prosecute

2 views 2 answers
My employer falsely accused me of theft , held me in interrogation for over two hrs , called me a liar and a thief repeatedly to my face in front of coworkers and peers , and tried to force me to sign a confession all without any representation present on my behalf , called the police and attempted to have me arrested , and was informed by police they were in the wrong . Can I sue them for the two + hrs of hell they put me through ?

The reality is that as upsetting as it was your best bet is to let it roll off your shoulder, and put it behind you, but has a terrific "find a lawyer" tool to locate a local lawyer. Good luck.
