Can I ask that 2 dismissed crimes be expunged? Both being misdemeanors?

One crime is petit Larceny and the other is a Paraphernalia charge. I'm asking because I'd like to enlist in the Military.

If they were dismissed, then they LIKELY could be dismissed. You need to speak to an attorney to know for sure. I and other attorneys on have handled these cases before.

The fact that they were dismissed may make you eligible for an expungement. It may depend on the manner of the dismissal and whether any sort of plea was entered. Contact an attorney who can research the dismissals and see if you are eligible.

In my states you could but you should check with a Va criminal defense attorney just to make sure and then have them expunged.

If either or both charges were dimissed by a judge or (null Process) then you may file a petition to expunge the arrest. If you would like to discuss this further, you may contact my firm at 703-691-0707.
