HI, I am a current college student in New Jersey, studying to become a radiographer,I'm only 2 semesters away. I came from Peru to the USA illegally in 1998. I'm 36 now ,divorced last year, have a 9 y/o daughter, paying my own tuition(since i don't qualify for financial aids),and a little confused. my question is : WILL I HAVE THE CHANCE TO GET A JOB AFTER FINISHING MY MAYOR? if so ,what would i need to do? . what are my options? THANK YOU VERY MUCH! freddy

As stated, this question is more a practical question than a legal question. You need to speak with a career counselor. Also, the question is more an immigration question than an education question, so I am updating the practice area designation as such.

I am not sure of your question. As Mr. Thurston suggests, if it is a career question, then better to ask it there. If it is an immigratio issue, then I will repost your question on that board.

It will definitely be harder for you because you are not authorized to work. Make sure you do not ever indicate on paperwork for employment that you are a US citizen or national...doing so will forever prevent you from obtaining legal status. YOu may qualify for DAPA when/if that program is reinstated, which would help you find employment because you'd be authorized to work.
