Plaintiff 50B Violation? Can defendant still be in violation also?

A temporary 50B was served to a family member, the defendant, and states that there is to be zero contact between himself and the plaintiff who filed for the order. There is a 14 month old minor child involved in the situation. My question is...which party is in violation of this order if the plaintiff contacted the defendant to arrange the exchange, and fully and willing participated, in this exchange of this minor child in a face to face "hand off" of said child?

The plaintiff can never violate her own protection order as it does not prevent her from doing anything. If you reciprocated, you technically violated it...but you could always argue that she enticed you to do so.

The Defendant would be well advised to seek legal representation. He is in violation of the Order, and it would really stink if the Plaintiff is using visitation with a much- loved little one to set up the Defendant for being charged with and arrested for violating the Order.Defendant needs to speak with a lawyer to get the Order modified to allow visitation with the child.
