Arriving at the ER during a time of amazing constipation!I was not able to get my insulin I peed in ambulance from the high sugar!When I got in to c a Dr at 3AM the Dr never came to c y I was asking for Insulin!All I got was "he's coming sir!" for too longgggggggg!When hecame I explaines he said"Well sir I thought u were here for Constipation!"I can't give you any insulin!"This is/was ridiculous!Can this be cause for a lawsuit !It put me back in a different hospital the following day!High sugar was over 900 all due to a night in an ER who would not give me 31u of Lantus!I've been a Diabetic for 42 years!I should have been asked if I had any other situations all I recall was my ins info requested!!Can I sue as the 2 days of hospital visits were stre

Medical negligence requires significant damages bc they are expensive cases for a lawyer. Unless you suffered more than 2 days of stress, I do not see an attorney taking this case.

You can certainly complain to the hospital administrator.

By at least complaining to the hospital, you might be able to get an apology at a minimum. This would be a very, very tough case under these circumstances.
