I'm sure there are plenty of good lawyers that would be willing to help you. is a great source to find a lawyer. Click on the "Find a Lawyer" tab at the top of the page and type in your city. Most lawyers offer a free consultation. I recommend speaking to a few and then hiring the one you feel the most comfortable with.

Most of us here, including myself, will give a free consultation. As a certified field sobriety test (SFST) instructor, I can tell you how important it is to find the best lawyer you can. There are many ways to fight a blood test and alleged poor performace on the SFSTs.
Which court house were you assigned to?
of course if your alcohol level is borderline I have reduced many cases on a second time DUI to a lesser charge but you really have to have facts which indicate a problem with proof of the prosecutor. Otherwise they certainly are not going to be inclined to give you a reduced charge in that you've already been through this process before. Depending on the county urine you are dealing with 96 hours to 30 days of jail on a second the time and that assumes that there are no enhancement qualities in the case there may be a possibility of alternative sentencing for all this information contact an attorney who knows how to deal with the second time DUI cases.
There are a lot of good DUI defense attorneys in Los Angeles. The trick is finding the right ones! You must be careful because there are many more bad attorneys then good ones. Use to filter out some attorneys. Look for an attorney who has the experience, training and skill to properly represent you. Talk to a few attorneys and find out who you work with best. The best way to protect yourself and ensure the best outcome is to get the best attorney you can. This does not mean you will "get off" or have no consequences, but you MUST fight to protect yourself. Good luck.

Well after doing DUIs for over 20 years as a prosecutor and defense attorney there if of course always hope. Evaluation of a DUI is about several elements. Your driving, FST, and your blood alcohol. You may have a defense to the blood draw. Unless you sit down with a lawyer to go over your case in its entirety the rest is speculation. For a more thorough analysis Id advise consulting with a private attorney and discuss your options. Many of us on offer free consults.
I would consult experienced DUI defense counsel in your local area immediately. This is a 2nd offense which would normally subject you to potentially more custody time. However, it is only "priorable" within a 7 year window and it sounds like you have escaped that. Experienced counsel can help you by analyzing your case and discussing all viable defenses with you, putting you in the strongest position to decide for yourself how to go forward. Counsel can also get you the best deal by acting as your advocate in court or provide you with excellent trial representation. There are a number of areas commonly analyzed by counsel in your DUI from alleged driving pattern, to observations, to any information you provided, to the results of "field sobriety tests", to breath or blood test results. Be informed and come from a position of strength; retain private counsel.
