Divorced in Sept 2006. Mass probate court order 8/26/2009 states mother pays uninsured medicals for our son, I pay our daughter. Mother never paid a $605 dental bill for services son rec'd in 7/2012, 1/2013 and 8/2013. Son is emancipated as of 11/19/2013. So from 8/26/2009 (court order) to 11/19/2013 (date emancipated) ex-wife had responsibility for sons uninsured medicals. Dentist is now sending me the bill because I was the one who took son to dentist. I seek to file contempt so the dentist gets paid.... they have been very patient. Ex-wife has refused to pay when I have asked her during the last 2-3 years. Can this order be enforced via me filing for contempt even though child is now emancipated?

If the requirement that she participate in those expenses is in the judgment, you can still file for contempt as long as the expenses were incurred when the child was unemancipated.
