My priority date became current and my lawyer is asking to get document from Saudi. But when I was infant my dad got it registered by the government of India through the Indian Embassy as I was still Indian. have any of you had such cross chargeability cases? Please help with your input.

If you were born in Saudi Arabia you will need to get your birth certificate from there regardless of what country you have citizenship in. Check the Department of State Reciprocity Schedule to see what to get.

This isn't really a case of cross-chargeability. Try contacting the Saudi embassy on how you can obtain your birth certificate (or a statement of non availability). Good luck!

You would have to get your birth certificate from the government of Saudi Arabia. Try contacting the Saudi Arabian consulate in the United States or the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia.
