Hello the child support office just issued a body attachment on my sons father for being behind on child support.

We have come to an agreement that i will close our case if he would help me with my son during summer vacation and on weekends because my sons behavior has been out of control...and he agreed. He is locked up right now by me doing this will it remove body attachment and he be released?
The body attachment was issued because your ex was in contempt of the Court's Order. Unfortunately his infraction is against the state and not you. He will most likely be held until he comes up with the body attachment bond or he is brought before the judge. You might contact the court and explain your arrangement, it will be up to the judge whether he accepts it or not.
Child support and visitation are completely different, particularly if the state via of the Office of Child Support is involved. It would appear from your post that the father has not been paying child support and even possibly that he was brought before the court once already for failure to pay and continued to do so. The court will want to address that. Also, if the office of child support is pursuing the case, you have very little say over whether it continues or not.
