I am not and have no plan to become married but have (a) "significant other" and (b) natural daughter . My question: Can either (a) or (b) qualify as beneficiary of my military pension upon my death?

Choice (a) cannot qualify unless you marry her. As to choice (b), maybe--If you had initially elected the spouse and child benefit. you can change the election by notifying DFAS. Best bet is to simply call DFAS.
