My ex has chosen to not take my daughter this week... what is my next step?

My ex and I went to mediation and agreed that he would have her 2 weekends/month and 2 weekdays/month when he has to work on weekends... At mediation we also agreed that if he has to work, he is required to provide childcare for her during the time he is supposed to have her... He was supposed to have her a day this week, I asked two weeks in advanced for him to set a day for that to happen and hes been ignoring me until recently. He informed me that he wouldnt be picking her up at all this week and said he is not getting her childcare, though we agreed on this because he supposedly has work. He is also required to give me his schedule 60 in advanced and refuses to do that as well though it was agreed that he is required to do that in order to make scheduling his days easier. What next?...

It is unclear whether the mediation resulted in a court order or not. You can try to enforce the court order, but your best option would be to consult with a local family law attorney who can review any documents and give you specific advice.

An agreement is an agreement. If he signed it then he is to be held to its terms. If he doesn't like the terms he could ask you nicely to change them and put the changes in writing or go to,court and ask the court to modify. Since he doesn't sem like he wants to do that and instead wants to act like an immature jerk, then you file a motion for contempt. If you use an attorney to do so, then demand attorney fees. Let him know right up front your not messing around. If you don't he's just going to continue to play games. Children should not be used as pawns. Stand up for your rights. Good luck.
