Hello Iam here in F1 status but no visa stamp, I lately applied for AOS because I got married to a U.S citizen and the case is still in process, I haven't received EAD/AP card yet. I want to travel to the U.S vigil islands for my honeymoon in 2 weeks and I need to ask if it will be ok to do so and travel to U.S virgin islands and come back without any troubles? Here is what I have with me right now: 1- I-797 approval notices for F1 status and OPT 2- EAD card for my OPT and social security card 3- Driver's license. Thank you for your time.

even though the U.S. Virgin Islands are US Territory you will be required to show that you are legally in the US when you leave the continental US. Upon arrival to the islands you will be required to go through customs and upon your return you will be required to go through customs. Without a current valid visa in your passport I do not suggest you take this trip.

Based on what is posted, it appears that you are in lawful status in the USA. Provided that you do not touch any foreign port or airpot on your way to or from the US virgin islands, and provided that you have not background issues yet to be revealed (arrests, convictions past bad immigration history) you should not have any problems. You should speak to an immigration attorney about this. If you do not have evidence that your adjustment of status is being processed, you may not be allowed re-entry (even though the USVI are technically US territories, you will still need to go through customs). Speak with an immigration attorney in your area before you make any decisions. Good luck!

The '" Automatic Visa Revalidation" rule applies since you are visiting a Caribbean island. You will need all that you have listed plus a valid passport.
