Until you are 18, you need parental permission to live outside of the supervision of your parents. Probation does not affect this. If there is someone willing to take you in and your father agrees to let you live there, you should get a power of attorney giving that placement temporary authority. Whether probation affects this will depend on which type of probation you are on. If this is district court probation, it shouldn't make a difference, though you should ask your probation officer anyway. If it is juvenile court probation, you may need your PO's permission. You may want to consult with a family law attorney before you take any action.

You could look into the possibility of Emancipation, but this is a complicated process. http://courts.mi.gov/Administration/SCAO/Forms/courtforms/emancipation/pc100.pdf Considering you have a recent arrest for an alcohol-related offense, this will not help your case. It's real easy to declare that you want to leave but what steps have you taken towards your independence? Do you have a job? Are you able to support yourself? What about housing (and sleeping on your friend's sofa doesn't count)? What about your education? How will you take care of your medical needs? Do you have insurance? What about transportation? Can you afford a car and insurance and maintenance? What you should consider is seeking the assistance of a counselor or a therapist for both you and your father. You need to negotiate with him. He's probably as frustrated with the situation as you are. Do you have a drinking problem? You may need to seek help for that too. From your language, it would not appear that custody with your mother is an option. It's not so easy to be on your own. Be careful what you ask for. Good Luck.
