My name was misspelled and since I didn't have a driver's license at the time they only have my passport # as an identifier. If I didn't go to court, and in the future a background check was run using my correctly spelled name and social security # or driver's license ID #, would anything show up in the system? The pink summons was for an open container of beer.

If you don't appear on a pink summons a warrant will be issued for your arrest. If your address is correct then it may be possible for them to find you and drag you to court in cuffs for a minor infraction such as this. Be smart. Pay the $25 fine and don't make a mistake worse by ignoring it and hoping they don't catch you in the future.

We really cannot advise you how to evade the law. If you were properly arrested or summoned, then you have to mount an actual defense. Evading prosecution these days is worse than getting shot in the back.
