Is it (negligent) if an accident lawyer does not inform the BK court/trustee a year later 9 days before BK discharge date .

The accident attorney was informed of the BK case when he took the case in writing. Settlement was agreed .Asked lawyer how this impacts the BK case. He said BK case? Told him it was in the contract signed . May 2014 he said he will take care of it . Just about every month his office was contacted asking him the status . Never talked to him he was always with a client or somewhere else never returned calls. Sent another email Mar 27 2015 informing him BK discharge is Apr 09 2015. Talked to trustee day of discharge was informed his office Mar 27 2015. My Discharge on hold now because spouses accident attorney did not follow through . where if he would have informed them a year ago I would have been discharged as scheduled. I feel he was 100%Negligent yes or No Thanks
