My bank just wrote me that ma department of revenue ,litigation bureau subpoenaed or summoned them to produce my records.

You may be better off sitting down with an attorney in your area to discuss your options. It may save you some time and other issues in the future.

If a client of mine in Florida told me that the Mass. DOR had served a subpoena to his bank seeking records, I would be recommending that he seek competent legal counsel in Mass. to review and explain. The type of lawyer I would be recommending would be a lawyer familiar with tax investigations and/or business litigation.
