If you were hit behind on your motorcycle by another motorist you should talk to a personal injury lawyer immediately. You can reach out to them by using the "find a lawyer" tool or by doing an internet search for one. Best wishes

It depends on whether you were injured or if you only have a property damage claim. You shouldn't have a problem finding an injury attorney. I'm surprised to hear that you've had trouble finding a lawyer since most lawyers really like mororcycle cases. Does the at fault party have coverage or do you? Is there some other problem with your case? Keep calling until you find someone and don't let the statute of limitations run.

Were you injured? If so, consult with a personal injury attorney. If you have already consulted with several attorneys and they won't take your case, my hunch is you weren't injured and are looking for someone to handle property damage. If that is the case, you should simply turn the matter over to your own insurance company and they will subrogate against the at fault party and recover your deductible for you. Good luck.

You need a pi attorney if you were injured. You do not say why the lawyers are not interested in your case. Speak with a pi attorney at once

Being a fellow rider, the issue here is WHY won't the lawyers take such a case? If its because there is no insurance with either of you, there is no way to fix for you and more than for a lawyer. To be clear, the expense and effort of getting judgment against an uninsured driver/owner is most often no only a waste of time but typically costs you even more money.

Based on the limited set of facts that you have given, it is hard to definitely say you need an attorney. With that said, if you were not at fault and were injured as a result of this accident, then you should certainly seek the representation of a personal injury attorney in your area. They will work on a contingency fee basis, meaning that you will not owe them anything out of pocket. If they cannot negotiate any recovery, then you will not owe them anything either. It never hurts to get the advice of more than one attorney and you should only choose one that you are comfortable with. Best of luck.

Because this was posted in the personal injury section, I will address it as such. The type of lawyer you may need is a personal injury attorney. Some lawyers have may have passed on your case because of an insurance coverage issue or a lack of insurance. If the person who hit you did not have insurance, and you did not carry uninsured motorist coverage, there may not be any coverage available to you. Also, if it was determined you were at fault, the other party's coverage may not be relevant. Attorneys often will evaluated whether they will take cases based on who is at fault, insurance coverage, and the injuries suffered, along with the probability of a successful recovery. You should find out whether the car who hit you had bodily injury coverage, whether you had uninsured motorist coverage, or whether someone in your household has/had uninsured motorist coverage. Bringing this information, along with a police report and any medical bills, to an attorney will help assist them in making a proper determination as to whether they should accept your case.

You should obtain needed medical care and treatment immediately and follow the doctor's advice. Do not give any statement to the adverse party or insurance company nor grant them access to any medical records. Photograph the injuries and the damage done to any property. Contact a personal injury attorney in your area as soon as possible so that you can protect your rights. Your question leaves out several important details. If you were injured as a result of the accident, then a personal injury attorney may agree to handle your personal injury case if the driver/vehicle that hit you has bodily injury liability insurance. If the driver and the owner of the vehicle that hit you do not have bodily injury liability insurance, then most personal injury attorneys will likely not handle your case as it will cost more to get a judgment against the uninsured driver and owner than you may ever recover. Even if you get a judgment, you may still never get any money out of it. If you were not injured, then it will be difficult to get an attorney to handle your property damage claim on a contingency fee basis. Your question also depends on whether or not you had insurance to cover your losses.

If you suffered any injuries as a result of your motorcycle collision, you should continue to look for a personal injury lawyer. Do not hesitate to continue calling different lawyers just because a couple of lawyers have turned your case down. There are several reasons why lawyers do not take on every case that comes through their door. Also, since you mention your time to file is drawing near, you need to call an attorney to make sure your statute of limitations does not run in your case. If you only have a claim for property damage, you can contact an attorney that takes on property damage cases, or you can simply contact your own insurance company and request that they take care of your property damage. Your insurance company will then seek to recover the money they spent from at fault driver's insurance company. Often, if you ask your insurance company to waive your deductible, they may be willing to do so because they will recover the deductible from the at fault driver's insurance company. Best of luck to you and hopefully you were not injured!
