Charged with Impersonating a police man because of the cloths he had on and the car he drove. There was no physical contact or property contact. Just verbal between two people, he said she said. There was no threating, Girl pull over two lanes in front of person charged liked to have wrecked two people then she pulled in a convenient store and one of the vehicles pulled in the same parking lot and told her what an idiot she was. She must have gotten bad and call police and told them she thought he was a cop.

Sounds like a skimpy case, proof wise. Hire a good Lower Alabama criminal defense lawyer.

Yes, they could arrest you based on the information you have provided. However, an arrest is not the same as a conviction. Right now, it's just an alleged offense. You should consult with a local criminal attorney for advice. Negotiation with the prosecutor may be possible. Good luck.

More information is needed to evaluate your inquiry. I would suggest consulting with a criminal defense lawyer. The defendant should have been given a complaint that will outline the charge against him/her. A criminal defense lawyer will be able to compare the complaint with the applicable statute and advise to what options are on the table.

I agree with the previous answers and recommend the defendant in this case contact an attorney regarding this case. People that are not guilty are arrested and charged with crimes everyday, so it is important to retain a lawyer as soon as possible.

They can do this because the level of proof needed to arrest is much lower than what is necessary to convict at trial. This sounds like a weak case, but the fact remains the arrest happened. You need to hire a criminal defense attorney to help you defend yourself against these charges.
