Where do I get a Taxpayer ID Number for my fathers succession?
The attorney for my fathers succession is asking for a taxpayer ID number. How do I get this number and also could I use his social security number?

Your attorney should obtain a tax identification number for the estate. It is very easy to do online. You will need to fill out an SS4 form from the IRS in order to give your attorney the permission to obtain the TIN (tax id number), assuming you are the executor/administrator.
