when responding to the foreclosure summons in Florida, can we file with the court by mail, or do we have to file in person at the court house. i am assuming that it is ok to file my response to the bank's attorney by mail.

You are allowed to send your response to the court by mail or file it in person. If you mail it, you should include a copy, a stamped return envelope, and a letter asking the clerk to return the copy to you with the filing date stamped on it. The copy to the bank's attorney can be served by mail: I recommend that you get a return receipt.
