I have a DUI from 2005. Only one I have ever had and I am now 63. What advice do you have to get approved?

I do not understand the question. Approved for what? Expungment/dismissal? Contact an attorney in San Diego with your specific request. Most, like myself, will give you a free consultation

It seems that you are asking about a matter that is more properly requested of an immigration attorney. I will refer your question to that forum, it seems that Mr. Fremont has addressed the DUI aspect, which seems to be resolved without and further questions.

Check your court file and make sure probation has expired. Perhaps obtain certified copy of the sentencing docket reflecting the length of probation--which, again, should have expired. Mail all of that with your application. If you discover something amiss in the court file, correct the problem.

What is SENTRI? I believe you posted this under DUI? Good luck to you.

As others have indicated, it may be wise to have readily available your sentencing paperwork from the DUI to confirm you are off probation as the maximum probation period is 5 years from the date of sentencing.
