Under current Indiana law, felony convictions for offenses covered under IC 35-42-4 are not eligible for expungement (while many other kinds of felony convictions are). But, there may be a way around that. Is your conviction for D Felony Exploitation, or for C Felony Exploitation? If it is D Felony Exploitation, you can **try** to have the D Felony Conviction reduced to a Class A Misdemeanor by filing a verified petition with the Court. If you are able to get that felony conviction reduced to a misdemeanor, then you could have that misdemeanor conviction expunged.

Indiana has made tremendous strides in the recent years allowing persons who have demonstrated reform, and meet enumerated statutory criteria to expunge their past felony record. However, as my colleague correctly pointed out, even with these changes some offense are still ineligible. I would recommend you consult with competent local counsel to review the fact you of your conviction and offense to see how the current statutory provision may apply. At least then you will know for certain exactly what the state of the current law is and whether or not you'll ever be able to expunge your old offense.
