How long should I wait before I receive a copy? Is it necessary that I had requested it via mail instead? Also, would I still be able to request an accounting of the estate, having only had a debt forgiven? Thank you.

It would seem that forgiveness of the debt would at a minimum would make you a beneficiary of the Trust. You should have entitlement of the Trust. Contact the Probate attorney and have him contact the attorney for the Trust. I cannot imagine your attorney would be giving much resistance. Other than cooperation, the only action would be Court intervention.
