Can a person get a carry and conceal license in Iowa if they have been charged with a felony

if he received executive clemency from the governor..... if he did jail time on a misdemeanor as opposed to a felony..... if he is just breaking the law and having a gun when he is not supposed to...... He may find out that possession of that gun is much more trouble that it is worth due to some very strict federal laws on the subject. advise that you seek advice from local counsel about state law and look into his criminal record for felony convictions.

Probably anyone can pay to take the class. Doesn't mean he can buy, possess or concealed carry...
