Do I have to pay rent for the 60 day notice

Buy out agreement states I can buy out and cut off all liability for paying rent for remainder of the lease if I give 60 day notice and pay 2560 fee. Does this cut off my liability to pay rent for the 60 days as long as I give the proper notice with the 2500 fee. This is a seperate agreement from the lease. To me it reads that the 60 day notice with the 2500 is all I have to do.

You may want to review the actual wording of the lease with an attorney, but generally you have to pay rent for the time you have possession of the property. It would be unusual for the $2,500 lease break fee to include the last 60 days of rent.
