Am I able to send a demand letter? What would you recommend to have someone to stop taking your employees.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. My husband & I own a staffing firm. We recently had an employee leave on bad terms. She has now started her own business & recruiting from our company. She has now take 4 employees of ours & is continuing to reach out to our current employees (contractors). Is there a way to stop this by sending a letter? Thank you again.

If you want this to be effective it should be from your attorney. Also, absent certain circumstances (like trade secrets or other issues) or by agreement, the former employee can always compete against you and hire your employees. You really need to speak with an attorney and provide them with the facts and documents and they can determine the best strategy. You sending out some letter that has no support under the law will just do you more harm than good.
