Why do we have to have SOL and Report cards?
I think we shouldn't have any because when kids get there report cards they sometimes get hit by there parents!

We have Standard of Learning Tests because the Virginia Legislature wanted to make sure that all students got an equal education.
We have report cards because there is no other way for a school to advise a parent of the educational progress of their child.
