Sales and marketing positions are generally difficult but not impossible. Your post does not provide specific enough description or job duties for much of an opinion. It is best to speak to an immigration attorney directly or if your big corporate company has an immigration attorney who normally represents the company, you should be able to speak and direct your questions to that attorney to determine if the job title and duties being presented to you are likely to be considered a specialty occupation for the H1B context.

Generally sales positions do not require a specialized degree. However, in some cases an argument can be made that a specialized degree is required for a particular sales position. You need to consult with an immigration attorney to properly evaluate your options.

Qualifying a sales position as a "speciality occupation" can be a challenge but it is possible depending on the job duties and requirements. You mentioned that you are employed with a multinational corporation. You should consult with that company ' s immigration attorney as to the possibility of an H-1B.

Sales, marketing and recruiters don't usually qualify for H-1B. Having said that much depends on the role and job duties. Consult with an immigration attorney for further analysis. I wish you luck!
