My case has took on strange twist and turns within in the last month's from several cancelled mediation appointments to firing me, over New policies that was put in place since my injury happened in 2013, and now the surgery that I was denied for so long is suddenly approved but I was told its possible my case will not be settled. My attorney said not to attend the hearing. My injuries are full rotator cup tear and bicep tears in my right arm. I was told I can't return to that kinda work anymore. There were no lite duty work available.

No. If your attorney said not to attend, it has been postponed. I would schedule a meeting with your lawyer to discuss.

Only your attorney knows the answer your questions. I agree that you must either call your attorney or schedule an appointment to ask these questions. But if your attorney told you not to attend the hearing it has either been rescheduled for another date or canceled.

As the other lawyers have mentioned, you should listen to your attorney. Your hearing has probably been postponed and will be reset. The postponement will not affect your case.

You do not need to attend the hearing. However, I agree with the other attorneys, you need to immediately schedule an appointment and sit down with your attorney to gain a better understanding of the status of your claim. That will give you the information that you need to gain reassurance that your claim is on track. Good luck.
