What kind of lawsuit can I file against a hotel?

I had informed the hotel I was staying at several times about bed bugs and spiders in their rooms along with dirty sheets. They did nothing about it and I was bitten by a venomous arthropod that required me to be hospitalized for a couple of days. They told me the manager would contact me and try to change me to another room but I never received a phone call. I am now missing work because of this and not mention the hospital bills to follow.
