The Respondent received all that she asked for from the court she is getting spousal and she got all her stuff etc. but she won't sign the paper work to complete the divorce, it's been more than 2 months. And the petitioner is paying monthly (spousal support, Atty. fees).
What happens if the petitioner quit the Job and leaves the country?
Well, I guess that support stops being paid, a debt is incurred and the spouse has to try to find the husband who will have a warrant for his arrest in the state of the divorce, his credit will be ruined and he will have no contact with his children.
If he can, he may get a job in the country he goes to but one never knows. If he is lucky he goes to a country that is able to provide him with a job and a decent living, except Canada which doesn't appreciate a husband who runs out on his family.
When you say she got all that she asked for from the court, what do mean? Do you mean your case went to trial? Do you mean a Request for Order was filed and granted? If there is a court order, or final orders or rulings were made on the record in court, the Judgment can be entered without her signature, under Code of Civil Procedure §664.6. If you quit your job and leave the country, She will likely get court orders for the arrears that will accumulate for your non payment of support. Quitting your job will not relieve you of your obligation to pay support unless there is a new court order. She could also request orders to have you held in contempt of court which would result in a bench warrant for your arrest. I suppose none of this would matter to you if you left the country - unless you ever plan to return. Seems like a silly thing to do simply because she has not signed the stipulated judgment yet. There are remedies available to you to get your judgment entered.

If the Respondent won't sign specific paper work to complete your divorce, there are certain steps you can take. It depends whether you can take the Respondent's default (it sounds like she answered your Petition with a Response so probably can't), or whether she never finished her Declaration of Disclosure. If that is the case, there is a Motion that can be made to sanction the Respondent and proceed without her. It sounds like good advice from an attorney is necessary to assist you in completing your case.
