Do I need a consumer fraud attorney

I ordered an outboard engine from a retailer on a website called Alibaba.com. Free shipping DHL 7 day delivery. I received an email from the sales manager Thomas Conolly a few weeks ago saying that the customs notice came to them and I owed $581 customs fees. I paid this the following Friday. Two weeks pay. Western Union. They were unable to pick up the money for some reason so I had to go back and pick up the money and send it Via Moneygram. I have emails from Mr Conolly stating that there would be no further charges after the $581 customs fee. Today I get a tracking number VIA email. From a totally different shipping company stating I owe $450 before they can ship my engine.... HELP

I see these types of cases with my international maritime and international commerce clients, and I also personally shop at alibaba so I know you are not in for a pleasant dispute. If you want to provide me with more concrete terms of the deal I can probably tell you more but you definitely have a case and need a lawyer that will fight for you. Feel free to call for a free consultation and maybe we can find an attornye in your area that can be of assistance.
