If you aren't joined...then in some ways it is better for you. The family law court will rule on the relative property rights of the spouses but will not have jurisdiction over your property rights. Proceed with your quiet title action.

No. Your property is not subject to the reach of the family court.

The Husband would have to prove that he has an interest in the property. The family does not have jurisdiction over a quiet title action,, which are expensive to prosecute. Why quiet title? Who filed? And if the slander was part of a judicial proceeding, then a anti-slap motion would get the matter dismissed, the person clamming slander will have to pay all of the attorney fees in connection with filing the anti slap motion. You should seek the advice of an attorney before you do anything that may hurt you.
