In texas, if i withdrew my petition for divorce and then refiled within a few weeks do i still have to wait the 60 days again?

I withdrew my petition after she had already been served and we were into the divorce proceedings because my wife made promises of reconciliation ( promises that fell through). My wife refuses to sign for my pension and I have to wait for my divorce to be finalized to get my pension due to the rules of my union. I was wondering if this will further delay the process. Thank you for any help.

If you dismissed your previous case and refiled, then yes, your 60 day waiting period starts over at the time your new petition was filed. It would be wise for you to consult with an attorney as it sounds like you and your wife have assets (e.g. retirement) that should be properly accounted for and divided. Best of luck to you!
