Child support in CO ends the month after the 19th birthday or high school graduation, whichever is later. You have no obligation to pay support past that point.
As stated by the other attorneys here, in Colorado, child support is an obligation until the child reaches the age of 19. However, there are factors the court will consider, such as a child's income that may change the financial circumstances enough that a modification of the child support order is equitable. It is hard to know whether a judge would do this based on the information you provided. I suggest you sit down with an attorney to review your paperwork and see if the scholarships, etc. would be enough to ask for a modification. Otherwise, you will need to continue paying until the child is 19.
