It depends on your prior record the facts of the case and how much you help the authorities. The better you are the better your lawyer the better the result.

Only your lawyer knows how the specific facts of your case and your criminal history will play out before this judge. If you don;t have a lawyer, get one.

You are facing up to a decade in prison and there is likely a presumption of incarceration. You need to consult with a lawyer that can review the charges, your criminal record and properly advise you.

This is why you must have a lawyer. It is difficult if not impossible to answer very specific criminal advice on this forum, even more than other categories, because the facts we need to answer would amount to your incriminating yourself in public. is not a very good forum for most criminal law questions except "Do I need a lawyer", where the answer is "Yes".

More information is needed. Judge Mega is one of the good ones. But a Factor 12 (helping the cops) is very tricky and normally more up to the prosecutor than the Judge. It may just drop the prison range to 3-5. Your attorney should curt the deal with the State or get a 4th page from the Judge. I doubt Judge Mega will give you a 4th page walk.

Each year the New Jersey Law Journal publishes "report cards" on the state's judges. The Law Journal is the weekly newspaper for attorneys and is the official publication for notices from our courts. The evaluations are provided by lawyers who have appeared before the judges and are compiled by the Journal. However, the evaluations are purely subjective and are not based on scientific standards, such as political polls. So, you should read the evaluations with a grain of salt.

It is not appropriate for attorneys to comment in a public forum on how they believe that a specific judge will rule on your matter. In a case based upon cooperation with the state the most important factor will be whether the state is recommending probation based upon mitigating factor 12. You attorney should know what the state is recommending.
