I posted yesterday about a pastor who I have proof of abusing a power of attorney for an elderly man. To be clear, I would like to find a lawyer to recoup damages and expose this man. There has also been a case of nursing home negligence in this matter. The church knows what the pastor has done but is ignoring it. We want to expose everyone. I can prove what I am saying, we just need someone to stand up for what is right. Phila corporation of aging feels this is a habit. He needs to be stopped.

If Philadelphia Corporation of Aging knows of the abuse, they have the power to go to court and demand an accounting from the agent. Under Section 5604(d)1 of the Pennsylvania law governing power of attorney documents, PCA has the power to conduct an investigation and demand records. In most circumstances the agent has 30 days to produce those records. The Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office also has an Elder Abuse Unit. The web page for the AG's office states "To file an elder abuse complaint, call our toll free Elder Abuse Helpline at 1-866-623-2137. Well trained staff will provide expedited assistance to seniors. "
