Going through custody battle without a lawyer. How do I present my case?

Family Law 1 views 1 answers
I can't afford a lawyer and I'm going through court for custody of my child. My child is being abused I need to present my information so that I can win my case. I don't know how to do this. I am looking for templates or something that will help me write up and prepare my case for the judge. I make too much money for legal aid and don't have enough money to pay for a lawyer.

Every case is fact-specific and how those facts are interpreted by a judge. I doubt any attorney could possibly advise you on presenting a case. You should be very careful because representing yourself in a custody case can be very risky. The best advice would be to retain an attorney, even though your funds are limited.
