18 yr old high school student orders tux, pays deposit, but doesn't pick it up due to personal reasons. Store calls 3 days later stating if he doesn't come in that week to pay for it they will press charges.

Was a contract entered into by both parties? I am assuming the only charges being "pressed" are for the balance of the price. The agreement that was signed, if one was signed, should control.
