How do I expedite Green Card processing filled under EB2 category (Country of Birth= India; Country of Citizenship=Canada)?

Is there any way where I could expedite my Green Card processing filled under EB2 category (Country of Birth= India; Country of Citizenship=Canada)? My priority date is January 2014 & my I-140 got approved about 6 months ago. I can not apply for I-485 because priority dates are not current for people born in India. Please help me with a solution/advise if there is any, to get the green card faster. My career growth will be stagnant like this. My spouse is also born in India which means I can not go for cross chargeability either. Please help with any advise or suggestions. Thanks. God bless...

Sorry, your country of birth controls. Have you talked to the attorney that did the PERM/I-140? Why is your career going to become stagnant? Are you intending to abandon the company that just spent thousands and thousands of dollars on the immigration papers as soon as you get the card in your hand?

Your priority date is controlled by your place of birth. You will need to continue to be employed with the employer that has filed the employment-based petition on your behalf until the priority date becomes current.

You seem to have figured it out; no way around country of birth as far as priority date goes.
