A quick question about diversion

Criminal Defense 6 views 3 answers
What are some reasons you see people get revoked from criminal diversion. Really worried I'm gonna mess this up. My luck something from months ago when I wasn't on diversion is going to come up and I will be revoked. I'm charges run consecutive and I'm terrified. Besides my paranoia, what are situations people were revoked that you or a colleague heard or had to represent. Thanks in advance

The easiest ways to get revoked are to get new charges, don't pay fines or court costs, don't do community service or classes, don't report, use drugs. Those kinds of things.

You should ask your attorney these questions or see if you can meet with a few local attorneys for consultations about your concerns and how they can best defend you.

I agree with Mr. Hobbart. Normally, people don't follow the diversion agreement for some reason or another. You forget to go to a school. You forget to finish paying your fees. You blow off your community service. Of course, getting arrested on a new charge is a major problem as well. It is generally something you do, not what an ex girlfriend brings up.
